Budway is a southern California-based transportation, warehousing and distribution company that primarily serves the metals commodity industry, both domestic and foreign. Budway now deploys the Agilis SmartFORMS solution to dispatch pickup/delivery work orders to drivers, receive work order status updates along with POD (proof of delivery) signatures via their Treo mobile phones. The information is integrated with their back office system enabling Budway to invoice its customers within minutes of delivery with verified proof of delivery. Dispatcher and driver productivity has improved while invoicing cycles were reduced from over a week to less than 24 hours.
IBC (Interstate Bakeries Corp), the makers of Hostess and Dolly Madison, deployed the Agilis SmartFORMS application for its route drivers. SmartFORMS captures GPS location and retail store profile information to enhance routing during preferred delivery time windows. IBC is using Agilis' SmartFORMS application to capture over 80 fields in 3 different forms. IBC created the forms and deployed them in less than two weeks with over 100 devices.
Four Seasons Heating and Cooling of Chicago, one of the country's largest privately owned HVAC companies, created multiple forms using SmartFORMS for its Sales and Service/Repair departments. Four Seasons integrated its back office computer system with Agilis to create a seamless solution for its mobile workers and office staff. During the air conditioning season, Four Seasons can be hit with over a thousand service calls a day causing invoicing to slide out to 3 weeks from time of service. Not any more. With the Agilis SmartFORMS system for repair tickets, all information is captured in the field and transmitted in real time to their office where it is integrated with their billing system. Now invoices go out the next day and cash flow has increased tremendously. Sales orders are also captured by the sales people via SmartFORMS for faster order processing. Four Seasons had tried three other Sprint billed applications without success prior to Agilis.
EA Langenfeld, a merchandising company for big box stores like Home Depot, uses SmartFORMS to capture the merchandise display information with photo capture and signature capture for the store manager's approval. The field-captured information is transmitted to Agilis' servers and integrated with EAL's back office system for same-day billing of completed services including the photos and signature for proof of service.
Soils and Structures, an engineering and survey firm, used paper-based forms in the field to complete their inspections. Today they use SmartFORMS to capture over 400 fields of data on their 7 forms. Agilis also mapped the data captured in the field to electronic templates based on their existing paper forms, Upon completion of a survey, the captured data is transmitted to the Agilis servers, overlaid onto the templates and is now available for printing or emailing/faxing to the customer. Now customers receive completed inspection forms within 24 hours as compared to over a week before implementing SmartFORMS.
