Agilis Systems, a software company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, has released new software solution called SmartROUTE. This software allows companies with mobile workers to create an optimized work schedule to increase efficiency and and customer satisfaction.
SmartROUTE is suited for service-based companies that regularly dispatch workers for on-site customer service. It allows dispatchers to create the most efficient service route for each worker and is easy to update when scheduling changes or emergencies arise.
"Everyone has gotten frustrated by having to wait at home for service technicians, whether it be for cable, the Internet, or any other household need," said Daniel Huber, president of Agilis Systems. "SmartROUTE is the tool that will allow companies to set more specific arrival times and meet them."
SmartROUTE helps the dispatcher to assign jobs based on a variety of factors, including job priority, worker skill sets, and transit time between jobs. When this is done, the software automatically creates the most efficient route. This helps to keep fuel costs low and reduce wear and tear of vehicles, while allowing each worker to complete more jobs every day.
In addition, customers are alerted early if the driver's arrival time changes SmartROUTE alerts the dispatcher if a worker is projected to be late, based on field updates.
