St. Louis, October 23, 2008 Agilis Systems, LLC, a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of the industry’s most comprehensive work order and work flow management solutions, now offers the ability for mobile workers to print forms such as invoices and receipts wirelessly in the field. Available for Windows Mobile® devices, this new feature is part of Agilis Systems’ WORKS™ work order and workflow management solutions.
The mobile printing feature is available on the following Windows Mobile devices with Bluetooth functionality: Palm® Treo™ 800W, Palm Treo 700WX, and HTC Mogul™ 6800, and it is compatible with two different MPrint™ devices from Brother® International: the MW-140BT and the MW-260.
The addition of the mobile printing function via Bluetooth technology enhances the WORKS solution. Agilis is creating savings for our clients in this challenging economic environment with automated solutions that decrease operational costs and help improve overall employee productivity.
The mobile printing feature is easy to use. Once a mobile form is completed within Agilis WORKS, the user simply selects “Print” on the handset to send the form to a mobile Brother printer, improving overall timeliness and back-end efficiency. In addition , this new feature will help clients increase customer satisfaction with on-site receipts, POD’s, missed appointment notices and more while decreasing costs by eliminating hard copy mailings to customers and reducing back office data entry.
Mobile printing is a new function of Agilis WORKS solution and there is no additional charge to customers for this feature. The end user is responsible for the purchase of the mobile printer.
